Bemowo intelligence officers followed up information that a man was storing drugs in his flat.[1] After entering the 27-year-old’s flat, officers immediately noticed a characteristic smell and found banned substances in several places, including the fridge.[1] The 27-year-old was detained at the flat while investigators inspected the scene.[1]

Officers seized a combined total of more than 200 grams of amphetamine, marijuana and NEP, with no separate weight reported for the marijuana alone.[1] A check of police databases confirmed that he had previously been punished for a similar drug offence.[1]

At the Warszawa-Wola district prosecutor’s office he was charged with possessing a significant quantity of intoxicants as a repeat offender.[1] At the prosecutor’s request, a court remanded the suspect in custody for three months.[1] The proceedings in the case are being conducted under the supervision of the Warszawa-Wola district prosecutor’s office.[2]
