On Monday, police officers found a cannabis nursery inside a house in Almere
Haven, in the city of Almere.[1]Officers of the force’s specialist hemp team,
the police unit for cannabis cultivation, started an investigation into the
people behind that nursery.[1][2]
That house was specifically identified as a dwelling on the Hofmark in Almere
Haven.[1][2]Inside that dwelling, the officers counted a total of 187 young
cannabis plants growing there as part of the nursery operation.[1][2]The
officers also observed that the electricity for the nursery was being tapped
illegally at the property.[1][2]Following the discovery, the entire nursery
installation was dismantled and all of the plants were destroyed.[1]
According to a local neighbourhood officer, the police had previously received
information indicating that something was going on inside that particular house
in Haven.[1][2]Hennepplanten and hennepkwekerij are the Dutch terms used in the
police account for the cannabis plants and the cannabis nursery.[1]
No suspects had been arrested, as far as was known, and the investigation was still ongoing.[2]

The article says the nursery was found on a Monday and was published on Wednesday 4 November 2026, so Monday is taken as 2 November 2026.
No arrests, named suspects or charges were reported; the specialist hemp team's investigation was still under way.
No weight, growing area or street value was published, only the count of 187 young plants, so no kilograms or hectares can be recorded.
Only one accessible source for this event was found.
The new account says police found the nursery on a Tuesday, while the existing report dates the find to Monday 2 November 2026; the incident weekday therefore remains unresolved.
The new account says more than 187 plants (ruim 187 hennepplanten), while the existing report records 187 young plants, so the exact count and growth stage remain imprecise.
The submitted page carries a photo file with no caption, credit or alt text confirming it shows this nursery, so no media entry can be supported from the opened evidence.
