On the morning of 3 November 2026, officers of the Western Achaia Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes acted on tip information in Alissos in Western Achaia.[1] Officers carried out a house search at a home in the area and found and seized cannabis and weapons held by the owner.[1] Officers arrested a Greek man born in 1983 in connection with the case.[1] Police filed a case against him for drug trafficking and possession and for breach of weapons law.[2] He was to be taken to the Achaia first-instance prosecutor, while the same department is conducting the preliminary investigation.[2]

According to the police announcement, officers seized 3 kilos and 117 grams of raw cannabis and plant fragments divided among packages and containers.[2] Aigiovoice described the cannabis as about three kilos of raw cannabis in branch form plus 311 grams of cannabis plant extracts.[1] Officers also seized an electronic precision scale and garden shears.[2]

Officers seized three hunting guns, comprising two single-barrel shotguns and a carbine loaded with three cartridges.[2] They also seized a blank-gas pistol with an empty magazine.[2] The firearms were held without the required possession licence.[1]
