Birmingham man charged after K9 finds 30 pounds of marijuana on I-20
A Lauderdale County sheriff's deputy stopped Co’Vaunte Harrell, 22, of Birmingham, Alabama, on Interstate 20 near Meridian before dawn on 30 October 2026, and a K9 found about 30 pounds of marijuana in the car. Harrell was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and his bond was set at $250,000.
