More than $17 million in illicit cannabis, concentrates and processing equipment was seized during a large enforcement operation against illegal cannabis businesses in Greece, New York โ€” the largest seizure in the history of the State Office of Cannabis Management.[1]

The months-long investigation by the Greece Police Department with the DEA, New York State Police and OCM ended July 28, 2026, with raids at two homes and two warehouses, confiscating hundreds of pounds of flower and thousands of pounds of products including edibles and concentrates slated for distribution across Central New York; some gummies were labelled 300 mg THC each against a 10 mg legal limit.[1][2]

Joseph Grant, 31, of Webster, and Jason Grant, 29, of Rochester, were each charged with four felony counts of first-degree criminal possession of cannabis.[2] Officers also recovered a ghost gun, more than $219,000 in cash and six vehicles.[2]
