Under Operation Ganjagaveshana, the NCB’s Jodhpur zonal unit with ANTF Rajasthan and Rajasthan Police raided Mandwa village in Kotra tehsil, Udaipur district, on an ANTF tip-off and confirmed cannabis growing over about 57 hectares across 56 land records entries.[1] About 70 personnel with 10 labourers and three tractors destroyed roughly 1.33 lakh plants in the presence of the deputy superintendent of police, the patwari and independent witnesses.[1]
The potential ganja value was estimated at Rs 199.50 crore.[1] Crime 8/2026 was registered at NCB Jodhpur and the investigation continues.[1] The drive follows the Vision Document on Narcotics Control 2026-29 goal of a drug-free India through action at the source.[1]
