🇹🇬 Togo

In June 2026 Togo reported that its security forces had seized more than 50 tonnes of drugs in 2025, mainly cannabis, alongside 52 kg of cocaine and psychotropic drugs.[1]

Security minister Calixte Madjoulba pointed to the seizures as evidence of anti-trafficking work.[1] The report described Togo’s port and its position on the Abidjan–Lagos corridor as routes used by traffickers, following the January destruction of the cannabis seized in 2024.[1]

The figure marked Togo as a transit platform with local consumption on the side — and made the 2024 bonfire look like a prelude.[1]
