Police in Podgorica filed criminal complaints in two separate drug cases against a sixteen-year-old and a 45-year-old identified as M.P.[1] The teenager was reported on suspicion of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.[1] M.P. was reported on suspicion of facilitating the consumption of narcotics to the detriment of a woman.[1]
Officers had checked two minors the previous afternoon at around 4 p.m. and found on one of them a larger PVC bag holding 38 smaller PVC packets of marijuana weighing about 50 grams in total.[1] Police said they found and seized marijuana in various packages from M.P. and from the residential building he uses, without giving a weight for that seizure.[1] Investigators suspect M.P. gave marijuana to the woman to consume, after which she became ill and sought medical help at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.[1]
After gathering information and carrying out police activities, officers informed the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica about the minor’s case, which directed that a criminal complaint be filed.[2] In M.P.’s case, officers informed prosecutors at both the Higher and Basic State Prosecutor’s Offices in Podgorica, and the Basic State Prosecutor directed that a criminal complaint be filed against him.[2]
