Two Colombian men were arrested in Maó, also called Mahón, in Menorca, on suspicion of a crime against public health after National Police officers stopped their car at a selective vehicle check.[1] Officers saw the front-seat passenger throw an object out of the window as they approached, then stopped the car and identified its three occupants.[1]

The search found about 25 grams of cocaine, around 2.5 grams of MDMA (ecstasy), almost half a gram of tusi, just over half a gram of methamphetamine, about 0.40 grams of marijuana and two doses of LSD.[1] Tusi is also known as pink cocaine.[2] Officers also seized more than €100 in cash, a precision scale and clear plastic bags that police said were intended for distributing the drugs.[1]

The two men were taken to the National Police station in Maó, where the case file was drawn up.[2] The National Police announced the arrests in a statement on Thursday.[3] The arrests were part of a police operation of selective vehicle checks in Menorca.[1]
