Kibiku Police Station officers with the Kirangari Location assistant chief intercepted a large bhang haul in Kiambu County on Monday, December 8, 2025, after a public tip-off.[1]
The raid recovered 1,508 rolls and 1.5 kg of unprocessed bhang with an estimated street value of Ksh 200,000; one suspect was arrested and held pending processing and arraignment, with exhibits secured at the station.[1]
The NPS statement credited public cooperation, noting most such arrests follow prompt citizen reports.[1] The raid came a day after a Thika operation netted 33 rolls and 26 sachets from one suspect, and days after Kiugoine officers took two people with 38 rolls and a Kikuyu operation held four with 1,100 rolls.[1]
