Police in Kiambu County arrested three suspects and seized 483 rolls of cannabis sativa in two intelligence-led operations targeting distribution and trafficking.[1]
In Wangige Town, officers from Kibiku Police Station acted on a tip-off and arrested two suspects allegedly distributing cannabis sativa; a search after the arrests recovered 73 rolls of bhang from the suspects, and a hideout search found 307 more rolls — 380 rolls plus about 10 g of unprocessed cannabis in all.[1]
In a separate operation at Corner One, officers from Kimuchu Police Station arrested another suspect found with 103 rolls of cannabis sativa.[1] The three suspects were placed in lawful custody pending arraignment, and the drugs secured as exhibits.[1]
