Police officers in Embu County arrested a person of interest after recovering 200 rolls of suspected bhang during a targeted anti-narcotics operation at Kakawa Market.[1]
The National Police Service said Makima Police Station officers conducted the operation on Sunday, October 11, 2026, to curb the sale and distribution of narcotics; the suspect was found in possession of the 200 rolls of suspected cannabis sativa.[1]
The suspect was held at Makima Police Station pending arraignment, with the rolls kept as exhibits, as the NPS urged the public to keep sharing timely information.[1]
