The Jembrana District Attorney’s Office, Kejari Jembrana, destroyed evidence from 39 general-crime cases that had final and binding court judgments on Monday, 2 November 2026.[1] Twenty-four of the 39 cases were narcotics cases, more than half of the total and the largest category destroyed.[1] The destruction was carried out under Evidence Destruction Order Number PRINT-1180/N.1.16.BPA/BPApa.1/10/2026 as execution of final court decisions under Article 270 of the Criminal Procedure Code.[1]

The cannabis component destroyed was 33.04 grams net of cannabis and four cannabis plants.[1]

Jembrana District Attorney chief Muhammad Ruslan said narcotics cases were the most numerous among the destroyed case evidence.[1] Ruslan said the destruction showed the office carrying out court decisions professionally, transparently and accountably and was meant to keep the confiscated evidence from being misused.[2]
