Agents of SENAD, Paraguay’s national anti-drug secretariat, detained a father and his son in the Caacupemí neighbourhood of Hernandarias, Alto Paraná department, and seized 48.5 kilograms of cannabis of the “GTA FEM” variety — 46 packets hidden in a secret compartment of the vehicle the two were travelling in, the agency said.[1][2]

SENAD said the load was destined for the Brazilian market, where its value would reach an estimated US$400,000. “GTA FEM” is grown from feminised seeds and reaches concentrations of up to 30% THC, the main psychoactive compound of cannabis, making it a high-value “premium” product, according to the agency and the officers who intervened.[1][2]
