In the Donetsk People’s Republic, officers of a separate patrol-police (PPS) battalion together with drug-control officers of Russia’s Gorlovka city police identified a 37-year-old local woman as a distributor of banned substances.[1] Police detained her in Gorlovka as she was retrieving a master-klade, a wholesale stash, from a hiding place.[2] An investigator opened an attempted drug-sale case against her and she was placed in a temporary detention facility pending a decision on a restraint measure.[1]

A personal search recovered about 300 grams of hashish, the cannabis component recorded here, alongside about half a kilogram of clephedrone and alpha-PVP.[1] The hashish figure is the police’s approximate weight and only that portion is counted as cannabis here.[1] Examination of her mobile phone led operatives to coordinates of retail dead drops she had allegedly prepared.[1] Officers recovered seven more wrapped packets at those addresses, whose contents by substance were not broken down and are not counted as cannabis.[1]

Operatives are now working to establish the channels that brought the drugs into the region.[1]
