At the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint, border police dog Boyar discovered over 70 kilograms of marijuana during a joint inspection of two vehicles heading to Turkey.[1]

Boyar indicated where the narcotics were hidden in the cars; border police and customs officers found that eight gas cylinders were not filled with gas but instead contained packages of dry green plant material.[1]

The seized marijuana totalled 70.064 kilograms, valued at €573,170 by a court-appointed expert, and the four men travelling in the vehicles were arrested.[1]
