The Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit arrested and charged three men in connection with the seizure of 43.3 kilograms of suspected cannabis valued at an estimated $866,000.[1]
Those charged were 45-year-old Trinidadian national Keion Kester George, 53-year-old Ryan O’Neal Goddard of Cutting Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, and a 54-year-old Guyanese national, each charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking and possession with intent to supply for offences allegedly committed on 23 August 2026.[1] George was additionally charged with entering Barbados other than through a port of entry and disembarking without an immigration officer’s consent.[1]
The three appeared before a magistrate in the District B Magistrates’ Court on 28 August and were not required to plead to the indictable offences; one was granted bail of $200,000 while the other two were remanded.[1]
