Thai immigration police and narcotics officers raided a warehouse used to store and package cannabis in Sam Wa Tawan Tok subdistrict, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok, on 31 October 2026.[1] The operation was led by Immigration Bureau Investigation Division 1 officers with the Office of the Narcotics Control Board and Nimit Mai Police Station.[1]
MGR Online’s Thai-language account dates the ONCB-led phase of the operation to 30 October and describes the Khlong Sam Wa premises as a company site used for unlicensed cannabis-flower production.[2]
Fourteen foreign nationals found inside the warehouse were detained and arrested.[1][3] Two Vietnamese nationals allegedly possessed crystal methamphetamine and methamphetamine tablets concealed at the premises, and also face offences under immigration law; police said one of them was wanted in Vietnam on a drug-related arrest warrant.[1] The other twelve detainees, from Vietnam and Myanmar, were arrested over immigration and employment offences such as entering or staying without permission, overstaying visas and working without permits.[1]
All fourteen suspects and the seized evidence were handed to investigators at Nimit Mai Police Station for legal proceedings.[1] Police said they are widening the investigation to identify the financiers behind the operation and examining possible use of Thai nominee shareholders.[1] This report records only the cannabis-warehouse raid and the arrests; no methamphetamine quantities were published, and none are counted here.[1]
