Taylor police charge man, 29, over 2 grams of marijuana found in backpack
Taylor police arrested Joseph Austin, 29, at a Keyser Avenue residence on 26 October 2026 on an active felony warrant. A search of his backpack at the station found about 2 grams of marijuana, and he was charged with possession and held for out-of-state extradition.

455 cannabis plants found in Chalfont basement; Horsch gets 54 months
New Britain Township police found 455 marijuana plants and two sawed-off shotguns in Raymond “R.C.” Horsch’s Chalfont basement on 22 July 2009. A federal judge sentenced him to 54 months in prison in 2012 after prosecutors asked for a 20-year mandatory minimum to be waived for his cooperation.
