Bor court gives five young men prison terms and fines five over bhang
A Bor court sentenced ten men aged eighteen to twenty-two after police found them smoking bhang during a night patrol. According to the state police commissioner, one received a year in prison, four received six months, and five were fined 50,000 South Sudanese pounds each.[@1] Police also arrested a supplier; the report did not state how much cannabis each young man held.[@1]
Torit police report two arrests over four sacks of cannabis
Torit police said they arrested a man and a woman over four sacks of bangi, each reported as 100 kg, transported from Ketire into the town. The spokesperson said the suspects were in custody during the investigation and would be sent to court.[@1]
