Officers of the Bolivarian National Guard apprehended a citizen at the Guarumito control point in Ayacucho municipality, Táchira, after a detailed inspection of a Chevrolet Swift uncovered a hidden stash totalling 26.36 kilograms of illicit substances.[1]
The load, coming from Colombia and bound for the town of La Fría, consisted of 32 wraps of suspected marijuana weighing 20.46 kilograms and 10 wraps of suspected cocaine weighing 5.9 kilograms.[1]
Following the find and the suspect’s detention, both the physical evidence and the apprehended citizen were placed at the disposition of the Public Ministry to open the legal investigation.[1]
