Shortly after midnight on the night of 19 to 20 October 2026, customs officers at the Reventin-Vaugris toll on motorway A7 in Isère checked a southbound vehicle and found Moroccan resin packed in suitcases; the load weighed 837 kg.[1] On instructions from the Vienne prosecutor the 23-year-old driver was handed to the Lyon branch of the Ofast anti-narcotics office.[1]

On Friday 23 October 2026 the Vienne criminal court sentenced Amra Cerbah, 23, from Neuilly-sur-Marne, to ten years in prison.[2][3] He told the court he had agreed under family pressure to run ten go-fast trips from Spain to repay debts left when his brother Mohand-Achour Cerbah was stopped near Clermont-Ferrand on 9 April 2026 with more than a tonne of cannabis and later received five years.[2][3] Customs valued the resin in his car at about €2.52 million; sentencing reports describe 839 kg.[2][3]

The October articles do not record further co-defendants or fines beyond the prison term.[2][3]
