GNR arrests man with 2,800 cannabis doses in Abrantes
The GNR arrested a 50-year-old man and seized 2,800 doses of cannabis and nine plants at a house in Vale das Mós, Abrantes. Officers also found equipment used to grow and pack the drug.

GNR officers arrested a 50-year-old man and seized 2,800 doses of cannabis and nine plants at a house in Vale das Mós, Abrantes, on 19 October 2026.[1][2]
The arrest followed a month-long investigation by the criminal investigation unit of the Abrantes territorial detachment; officers executed a search warrant at the home.[1][2] They also seized a heater, a vacuum-packing machine and a scale.[1][2]
The man was made a formal suspect (arguido) and released subject to an identity-and-residence order; the case was sent to the Abrantes court.[1][2]
