Officers of Omsk police precinct number six and members of the Shield
voluntary people’s druzhina found wild cannabis on several plots along
3-ya Polevaya street in the October district, the city administration told
Om1.ru on 15 October 2026.[1] The patches covered more than 600 square
metres.[1]
Participants uprooted the plants and burned them on the spot.[1] A city
hall spokesperson said such checks run regularly in summer and early
autumn to remove plants that could be used to make drugs.[1] MK Omsk
reported the same raid on 15 October, quoting the joint work of precinct
six and the Shield druzhina on 3-ya Polevaya.[2]
