The leader of Namibia's cannabis challenge is jailed for possession

Brian Jaftha, who had brought the constitutional case against the cannabis ban, was sentenced to two years in prison for possession, about five years after his arrest. He said the plant material was never tested and that the investigating officer had died and could not be cross-examined. His lawyer in the constitutional case said the sentence did not end that challenge.
