Charlie Williams, 21, admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply at Chester Magistrates’ Court on 25 September and returned to the same court on 26 October 2026 to be sentenced.[1] The court imposed a community order running until 25 October 2027, with 100 hours of unpaid work.[1]

His phone and cash were taken from him under an order made by the court.[1] The cannabis was forfeited and ordered to be destroyed.[1] Williams was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £114 surcharge.[1] He possessed cannabis, a Class B drug, in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, on 23 February.[1] Prosecutor Mark Baker told the court that officers in Ellesmere Port stopped and searched him that day and found snap bags of cannabis, cash and a phone.[2] Baker said the cannabis had a street value of between £2,000 and £3,300.[2] He added that Williams had a previous conviction for drug dealing.[2]

Stevie Bate, defending, said Williams had pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity and was afforded full credit.[2] She accepted that his previous convictions were an aggravating factor.[2]
