The Krasnozersky District Court in Novosibirsk region heard the case of Andrian Nagoga, accused of illegal manufacture and storage of drugs without intent to sell under parts 2 and 1 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code.[1] The court found Nagoga guilty on both counts.[1] For the part-2 count it imposed 3 years’ imprisonment and for the part-1 count 280 hours of compulsory labour.[1] By partially combining the punishments the court imposed a final term of 3 years and 1 month’s imprisonment, suspended, with a probation period of 1 year and 6 months and additional obligations.[1] The verdict had not yet entered into legal force.[1]

The court found that on the morning of 20 July 2026 Nagoga decided to make and keep for personal use a mixture of hashish oil and hashish.[1] He went to a plot, collected the upper parts of cannabis plants and carried them home, making hashish oil at about 10 a.m.[1] He consumed part of the product and left the remainder on his kitchen table, where police found and seized it the same day.[1]

Later on 20 July Nagoga decided to acquire and keep marijuana for personal use.[1] At about 5 p.m. he returned to the cannabis thickets, collected plant tops into a bag and was stopped by police officers on his way back, who seized the marijuana.[1] The second account confirms that police stopped him on the way home and found and seized the marijuana, and that the court convicted him of illegal manufacture, acquisition and storage without intent to sell.[2]
