Dera police arrested 10 proclaimed offenders and three other suspects in separate operations within the jurisdiction of Paharpur police station.[1] The 10 proclaimed offenders were identified as Javed Akbar Kamrani, Nawaz Khan, Ghazi Khan, Sanaullah, Sabir Khan, Muhammad Ali, Gul Zaman, Naseeruddin, Faheem Abbas and Muhammad Ashfaq, who were wanted in various criminal cases.[1] In separate actions, police arrested Ahmad son of Gohar Rehman and Amir Khan alias Faqiro son of Haider in connection with a case involving negligent and reckless motorcycle riding.[1] Another suspect, Muhammad Iqbal son of Hamad Hassan, was also arrested.[1]

Police said the operations recovered hashish and illegal weapons from the suspects’ possession.[1] Police recovered 596 grams of hashish from Amir Khan.[1] From Muhammad Iqbal, police seized a 12-bore repeater gun, seven magazines and 35 cartridges.[1]

The operations were conducted under the supervision of SP Paharpur Iqbal Khan Baloch and led by DSP Sharifullah Khan and SHO Cadet Zafar Abbas.[1] DSP Sharifullah Khan said action against criminal elements would continue without discrimination.[1]
