Sudan’s Supreme Court upholds a life sentence for hashish trafficking
In Sudan Government v. Z. A. A. J., the National Supreme Court confirms an article 15 conviction involving 657.3 grams of hashish found in the accused’s locked bag. It treats the quantity as evidence of trafficking intent, upholds life imprisonment and reduces the fine to 10,000 pounds.
